Pay: £14.55 per hour

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting on behalf of Ross Care, a leading provider of community equipment services, who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role, supporting the delivery of essential NHS and community services.

This role will be based at the Welwyn site initially, before relocating to the Bedford Site site in February.

The Role:

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will support the Operations Manager and lead the day-to-day running of the operational team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required service standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Supporting the Operations Manager and stepping in during absences

* Managing engineer debriefs and keeping accurate records

* Allocating workflow to Bench Engineers and Warehouse colleagues

* Tracking and monitoring operational KPI performance

* Communicating team goals and identifying training needs

* Ensuring vehicle/driver checks are completed

* Assisting with onboarding and ongoing training of new starters

* Supporting colleagues with queries and ensuring compliance with quality standards

* Managing rotas, including the out-of-hours schedule

* Assisting with requests from the clinical team

* Leading team meetings and promoting best practice

* Ensuring all mandatory and legal training is completed

* Encouraging development and upskilling across the team

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role

* Strong communication and motivational skills

* Ability to manage workflow, KPIs and performance

* Good organisational skills and attention to detail

* Experience within a warehouse, logistics or engineering environment (preferred)

* Ability to respond to xjnqpsq changing priorities and support emergency requirements when needed

* Full UK driving licence

Key Performance Indicators:

* Effective engineer debriefs

* First-time fix rates

* Mandatory training completion

* Van stock accuracy

* Health & Safety compliance

* KPI performance across the operational team
