Warehouse Operative with FLT

Description

Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Warehouse & Production Operative with FLT Counterbalance to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Hindley Green. This position involves general warehouse duties and supporting the production team to ensure raw materials are supplied efficiently and production downtime is minimised.

Please note: This is not solely an FLT role. The role involves operating FLT and PPT equipment alongside general warehouse and production support tasks.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday, 07:00am - 16:30pm (38 hours per week)

Rate of Pay:

£13.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

* Unload vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT with clamp extension (training provided if required).

* Operate PPT to move palletised stock around the site.

* Communicate effectively with production teams to ensure continuous supply of raw materials to machines.

* Manage warehouse stock levels and space efficiently to accommodate incoming deliveries.

* Monitor stock control for both raw materials and finished goods.

* Wrap, band, and prepare pallets for outbound shipments.

* Ensure visiting drivers comply with site safety standards.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

* Perform daily FLT safety checks and follow all Health & Safety protocols.

To be successful you must:

* Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (experience with clamp attachment beneficial but not essential).

* Experienced in operating a PPT and handling palletised goods.

* Organised, with a good eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

* Proactive with a positive attitude, able to work independently and collaboratively.

* Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.

* Comfortable balancing warehouse duties with fast-paced production support requirements.
