Warehouse / FLT Driver

Location: Huddersfield

Pay: 13.39p/h

Duration: 12 week Temporary – Permanent

Hours of work: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, rotating weekly.

Training will require you to work 1 set shift. Training usually takes 1–2 weeks.

Role and Responsibilities:

Receive goods at the loading/receiving area.Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with appropriate lifting equipment.Load goods onto trucks for shipping.To make the absolute most of limited space, warehouse operatives must find ways to organise for maximum space saving.Ensuring accurate records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse.Ability to work using controlled documents and completion of relevant data.Manual handling duties.Essential skills needed for the role:

Counterbalance FLT license (valid and in–date, RTITB / ITSSAR)Reach FLT license (valid and in–date, RTITB / ITSSAR)Good IT Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word) for data entry and inventory.The successful candidate will need to hold both Reach and CB FLT licenses. Manual Handling experience is advantageous but not essential as training can / will be given. Please be aware this job is not solely FLT driving and will require you work flexibly within the warehouse / production department as and when needed.
