Description

The Alliance has a long and proud tradition as a provider of high-quality qualification training for people working in the early years sector. Courses are offered from level 2 to level 5 for learners and apprentices. Following a strong Ofsted inspection of our provision in July, we are now looking to recruit a Training Quality Manager to expand the range of programmes we offer and develop further our engagement with learners, apprentices and employers. The Alliance's training team is a strategic partner with DfE, Skills England and a range of other key stakeholders in early years and post compulsory education and this role offers and opportunity to be involved directly in shaping and improving the early years workforce framework into the future.

The role is hybrid working and will be based in a location to be agreed with the successful candidate.

A dedicated mental health First Aider to support your mental well being Main duties the successful Training Quality Manager will undertake:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the delivery of the Alliance's qualification training programme, including the IQA systems, setting appropriate targets for staff, monitoring outcomes and priorities in line with the Strategic and Operational Plans, to ensure effective assessment services.

Essential criteria we are looking for in a Training Quality Manager:

Qualification in Post Compulsory Training and Education. Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline. In depth knowledge and understanding of good practice in training and education. Knowledge and understanding of the post-compulsory training and education sector. Knowledge, understanding and experience of the early years sector. Commitment to promoting equality and diversity, and inclusive and anti-discriminatory practice. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to lead and motivate a successful team. Hours per week: 35

Weeks per year: 52
