Test Technician – Contract

We are looking for a Test Technician to join an electronics manufacturing environment on an initial contract basis. The role will focus on the inspection, testing and diagnosis of electronic products, including identifying faults at component level.

Contract Length: Initial 6 months

Location: West Sussex

Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

You will be responsible for:

* Testing electronic products, assemblies and sub-assemblies throughout the production process.

* Diagnosing technical issues and carrying out fault finding to component level.

* Working from engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, test documentation and technical instructions.

* Supporting production activities to ensure equipment meets the required quality and performance standards.

* Identifying and communicating faults or recurring technical issues.

* Working within an organised, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Experience Required

The successful candidate should ideally have:

* At least 2 years' experience within electronic testing, diagnostics or a closely related position.

* Strong electronic fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.

* Experience testing electrical/electronic circuits, assemblies or manufactured equipment.

* Confidence interpreting schematics, drawings and technical documentation.

* An understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles would be beneficial. xjnqpsq

* A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
