Salary: 30,000 – 35,000 per annum

Type: Full–time, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Technician to join our team in Woking (GU21). This is a hands–on role ideal for someone with a strong background in electronics testing, diagnostics, and fault–finding within a manufacturing environment.

Purpose of the Role

To follow predefined test procedures and processes to ensure high–quality electronic products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time. The role requires specialist skills developed through training and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and lead electronic test activities following established procedures

Inspect and test electronic assemblies during manufacturing

Use bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators

Fault find electronic circuits and components down to board level

Maintain accurate documentation for full traceability

Support and mentor junior technicians as required

Identify and propose process improvements

Work independently within defined standards

Overtime may be required to meet production targets

Requirements

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

ONC/HNC or equivalent in an electronics discipline (essential)

Understanding of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing safety regulations

Previous experience in a high–tech manufacturing or test environment

Familiarity with test processes and good general PC skills

Strong attention to detail and good time management
