Location: Buxton, Derbyshire
Salary: From GBP25,636.96 GBP37,407.73 per annum + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, permanent

We are now recruiting for a Technical PMR Technician to support print performance through effective plate checking, plate lifecycle control, and technical support to the plate mounting function.
The role is key to protecting print quality, reducing waste, and ensuring Right First–Time output.
In addition to this, as our Technical PMR Technician you will be responsible for:
Carrying out advance plate checking against job specifications to ensure plates are fit for purpose. Controlling plate ordering, repeat management, and lifecycle tracking. Maintaining an accurate and organised plate library and retained print sample storage. Identifying and escalating non–conformances before plates reach print. Providing technical cover and hands–on support to the plate mounting operation when required. Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, BRC, Saica procedures, and 5S standards. Working closely with Planning, Print, and Production teams to support OTIF performance. Contributing to continuous improvement and defect prevention initiatives. In order to be successful in this role you should have / be:
Experience in print, plate mounting, reprographics, or packaging environments. Strong attention to detail and understanding of Right First–Time principles. Experience working within BRC or similar quality systems. IOSH Managing Safety (or willingness to achieve). IT competent (MS Office and internal systems).
