Are you mechanically minded, great at fixing problems and looking for your next opportunity with a well–established food manufacturer?

We're looking for a Technical Operator who enjoys getting stuck in, solving problems and keeping production running smoothly. If you have experience fixing machinery, fault finding or working in a fast–paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Day Shifts: 4 on/4 off 7am – 7pm

What you'll be doing

As a Technical Operator, you'll be the first point of contact when production lines stop, using your mechanical knowledge and problem–solving skills to get things moving again.

Carry out mechanical fault finding, repairs and adjustmentsSupport line set–ups and changeoversRespond quickly to breakdowns and production issuesSupport PPM and work alongside the Engineering teamHelp identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtimeComplete quality, hygiene, HACCP and H&S checksCommunicate effectively with colleagues and lead by exampleHelp support and coach other operators

What we're looking for

We're looking for a Technical Operator who is:

Confident fixing machinery and carrying out fault findingPractical, hands–on and able to think calmly under pressureA strong communicator who can work well across different teamsComfortable taking ownership and showing leadershipExperienced in manufacturing, engineering or production – food/FMCG experience is desirable

Assessment Day – 26th October

We'll be holding a full–day assessment on Monday 26th October, giving you the opportunity to meet the team, find out more about the role and experience the working environment for yourself.

Lunch will be provided on the day.
