Description

Technical Operator

Location: Rugby, CV21 1HA

Shifts: 4-on, 4-off rotating shift pattern, alternating between day and night shifts. Shift hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for day shifts and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am for night shifts.

Contract: Temp

Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Technical Operator to join our team. The role involves supporting daily production activities while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily production tasks safely and efficiently

Maintain quality, food safety, and health & safety standards

Perform basic machine checks and routine maintenance

Complete quality checks and paperwork accurately

Support stock and material control within your work area

Help with product changeovers and operate FLT equipment when required

Use systems such as SAP to manage stock and production information

Support and train team members where needed

Identify and suggest improvements to processes and equipmentRequirements

Previous experience in a production environment

Able to work independently and make decisions when needed

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexible to work across different production areas

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Able to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standardsKey Behaviours

Positive attitude towards continuous improvement

Basic level of education

Ability to work towards NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
