Supply Chain Planner

Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on an initial 12 –month contract. As the Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply including internal and external customers to ensure that master schedule is achieved, maintained, and utilised assets optimised.

Role: Supply Chain Planner

Pay: 29 per hour Via Umbrella

Location: Belfast

Contract: Monday – Friday 36 hours per week, working 36 hours per week, Mon – Thurs 8.15am – 4.45pm & Fri 8am–12pm (start / stops times may vary slightly)12 months contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

The accurate & timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profilesMaintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracyParameter management to ensure optimum utilised assetsWork in and support a Natural TeamProvide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success, including Line of Balance updatesTimely Delivery of Parts to Shopfloor and External Customers

Essential Skills:

Candidates must possess a minimum of an HNC or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPIM, CIPS) and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain. Lesser–qualified candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain will also be considered.Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is essential.Must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.Knowledge of Thermal Vacuum techniques/systems & Space environmental conditions in a test environment.
