Join a leading design and manufacturer of full turnkey projects for food processing & packaging machinery. Due to further growth within the business, they are looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead the daily stores operation.

Role & Responsibilities of the Stores Supervisor:

Ensure efficient receipt, storage, control of goods in to support manufacturingDistribution of materials, engineering components, consumables & toolingSupport despatch with packing and distribution of goods to customersSupervisor & coordinate a small team of stores assistantsStock counts, audits, investigation of errors, checking purchase orders against goodsUse of ERP/MRP systems to check stock movementsMake sure production kits and materials are prepared and issued timely to manufacturing

Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be the Stores Supervisor:

Experience within an engineering or manufacturing industryPreviously have worked stores, warehouse, logistics, inventory control type environmentIdeally have supervisor / team leader experienceUsed ERP/MRP systems before, with good IT skillsGood understanding of stock control processes and material traceabilityStrong organisational and communication skillsAble to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
