Job Title: Store Operative
Location: Wokingham
Job type: Long term contract
Rate: £14-£15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00-16:00, Friday: 07:00-12:00
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Stores Operative to join a well-established UK manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working as part of a busy team and keeping materials, stock and goods moving efficiently. The role of Stores Operative:
Receiving and checking incoming goods and materials
Kitting for production using bill of materials
Picking and issuing parts and materials to production
Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock checks
Logging and ensuring ERP is accurate
Packing goods to be delivered to customers
Keeping the stores and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
The Stores Operative will have the following skills and experience:
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Confident dealing with stock, part numbers and documentation
Previous Stores experience working within a manufacturing environment
Experience using ERP/MRP systems
