Job Overview

To manage the stores function to ensure that the section provides a high quality, efficient, effective service to Construction services, clients and customers. This placement will include the supervision of staff.

Candidates should be made aware that plans are in place to outsource the Stores function which is likely to take place later in 2026. The successful candidate will be required to be involved in the management of people moving across and helping with the outsourcing to ensure a smooth transitiion.

Responsibilities

* To manage the stores function

* To ensure Stores have effective processes and procedures in place for working in a warehouse environment picking, unloading deliveries.

* To be the primary contact in any inspections.

* To organise and ensure that regular stock checks of items within Stores take place.

* To propose, review and monitor KPI’s for the Stores section and to report on these to Berneslai Homes Construction Services Senior Management Team.

Experience

* Educated to HNC/NVQ level 4 in a suitable discipline or demonstrate relevant experience equivalent to this level. (*_Must show commitment to achieve this qualification within 6 months of employment_*). xjnqpsq

* Evidence of Health and Safety training relevant for the post.

Hours & Pay

* Monday - Friday

* Shift pattern to be confirmed at interview but similar to 8-4 or 9-5.

* Starting at £20.29P/H

* Weekly pay whilst through agency
