Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: Dunstable / Houghton Regis / Leighton Buzzard / Northampton (occasional travel to Burton)

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, typically 8am–5pm (flexibility available)

Are you passionate about stock control, inventory management and getting the details right?

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Stock Controller to join our client's team and take ownership of stock accuracy and inventory control across multiple sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working within the stock and inventory environment, takes pride in maintaining accurate records and understands the importance of effective stock management to the wider business.

The Role

Working across a number of operational sites, this will be a varied, hands-on position combining time in both the warehouse and office environments.

You will play an important role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting inventory processes and ensuring stock information is reliable, up to date and effectively managed.

The role will involve regular travel between sites, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in a stock control, inventory management or similar role.

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

* Good Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and stock data.

* A genuine interest in stock control and a passion for working within the inventory environment.

* The ability to work independently, use initiative and take ownership of responsibilities.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* A proactive attitude and the confidence to identify and resolve discrepancies.

* A full, valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Most importantly, we want someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of stock accuracy and is keen to develop within this area.

Working Hours & Location

The role will ordinarily operate Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. However, our client is open to some flexibility around working days and hours for the right candidate, with a minimum commitment of four days per week.

The successful candidate will be required to attend site daily, working across locations including:

* Dunstable

* Houghton Regis

* Leighton Buzzard

* Northampton

* Occasional travel to Burton

There will also be some mandatory weekend working to support planned stock takes. These dates will be communicated well in advance, allowing plenty of time for planning.
