Description

As Site Financial Controller, you will be the financial cornerstone of our Widnes operations. You'll lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with both local and international business goals. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions and operational improvements.

Location: Widnes

Salary: 50,000+/– per annum plus performance based bonus

Contract: Permanent, Full–Time

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Mon–Thurs), 8:00am – 1:00pm (Friday)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all site financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, and forecastingPartner with operational leaders to drive financial performance and cost controlEnsure timely and accurate month–end close and financial reportingMaintain compliance with UK and European financial regulations and internal policiesSupport internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial controlsIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost efficienciesProvide financial leadership and guidance to site teams and senior management

What We're Looking For

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong financial leadership experienceProven track record in manufacturing or production environmentsExceptional analytical and problem–solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProactive, hands–on approach with a strategic mindsetExperience working in international or multi–site operations is a plus
