Description
Experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator – Permanent | Wythall
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per year
Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–16:30 | Fri 08:00–15:30
We’re working with a well-established ventilation company in Wythall, specialising in natural ventilation, louvres, grilles, and acoustics. They’re looking for a skilled and ambitious Sheet Metal Fabricator ready to take their career to the next level – with real opportunities for progression into workshop management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Fabricating galvanised steel to a high standard
Reading construction drawings and producing accurate cutting lists
Operating guillotine, brake press, and plasma cutting machines
Welding and assembly
Contributing to design and development projects
What We’re Looking For:
Proven fabrication experience (essential)
Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings
Proactive, organised, and solution-focused
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong initiative and determination
Mechanical engineering knowledge is a bonus
