Sewing Machinist

Description

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our clients manufacturing team in Hereford. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sewing machines and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sewing to develop their skills within a dynamic team environment.

Experience Required:

· High level of sewing ability ideally with industrial material and products

· Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties

Essential Criteria:

· Proven experience a seamstress or in similar role

· Proficient in sewing techniques and operating sewing machines

· Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination

· Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions

· Able to carry out accurate measurements

· Work quickly and accurately

· Check work for mistakes and correct faults

· Strong time management skills to meet deadlines

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members

· Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively

· A conscientious person who takes pride in their work

This is an ongoing temporary position with the view to becoming permanent after a period of time.

Hours: Monday to Friday

39 Hours per week. xjnqpsq

£13.50 - £13.95 per hour.
