Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with large UK manufacturing group to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment Advisor for their production facility in Cheshire. The Safety, Health and Environment Advisor will work at part of the site SHE team to implement the SHE agenda locally across site, implementing new group Safety and Health initiatives.

The Group are committed to Safety, Health and Environment and are seeking a SHE Advisor continue to drive Safety, Health and Environment to new levels.

Support the reduction of SHE risks and hazards across the siteDeliver appropriate Health and Safety trainingUndertake workplace inspections and auditsSupport the implementation of the new group SHE management systemUndertake reporting and escalation requirementsSupport the management of contractors and visitors on siteImplement group SHE initiatives and campaigns across the siteDeploying strategy and systemsComplete risk assessment and risk managementLead on incident investigationInvestigate the working environment for unsafe practices and conditions The role is hands–on, involving leading initiatives focusing on safety cultures and behaviours, engaging and educating, having real conversations, and advocating for Safety, Health, and the Environment at the management level.

About you:

You will be passionate about Health, Safety and Environment and enjoy coaching, educating and enaging with employees at all levels of business. You will hold the Nebosh Certificate, with previous experience operational SHE experience in an industrial setting, leading practical initiatives that empower and encourage employee engagement.
