Location: Southampton
Salary: GBP23,492 per year + commission & bonus
Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00am 16:30pm / Friday 8:00am 13:15pm
About the Role
A successful and forward–thinking company is seeking a reliable and dedicated Goods In Operative / Receiving Clerk to join their team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Checking that all goods loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
• Storing and rotating stock in line with established procedures
• Reporting damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Following health and safety rules when handling goods
• Ensuring smooth operations by adhering to procedures, rules, and schedules
• Treating all merchandise with care and attention
You ll receive a competitive package including:

About You
• Strong communication skills
• Reliability and dedication are essential
• Previous experience in Goods In or Manufacturing is desirable but not required full training will be provided
• Pride in your work and meticulous attention to detail
• GCSE–level education (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Ideal but not essential experience: Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Operative, Factory Operative, Assembly Technician, Goods In, Shipping Clerk.
