CK Group are recruiting for an R&D Manager, to join a chemicals manufacturing company, at their site based in Stoke, on a full time, permanent basis. The salary is 40,000 pa

The Company:

Our client is a leader in the global manufacture of their specialty materials. Developing and manufacturing a range of pigments and nanomaterials.

Location:

The R&D Manager will be based at the company's site in Stoke, easily commutable from surrounding areas.

R&D Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

Develop new, innovative productsExplore new chemistries in line with the companies strategic goalsDevelop analytical and other quality required parametersDevelop processes for manufacturing new products including their upscaling into pilot scaleDevelop analytical and quality procedures to ensure the products functionalityDevelop new Applications for existing or new productsSupport Production department on any problems arising in productionManage the R&D Laboratory and its personnelDevelop Equipment and technical standards according to the requirementsYour Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

PhD in Inorganic Chemistry or Material Science, ev. Mineralogy or Polymer Scienceswillingness to do practical lab workexperience in analytical procedures especially spectroscopic methodswillingness to occasional travelsApply:
