Overview

Reporting to the Site Operations Director and working closely with the Group HS&E Manager, the QUESH Manager will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). This is a pivotal role that combines strategic oversight with hands–on leadership to ensure compliance, drive performance, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001Lead internal audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsChampion continuous improvement initiatives across processes and products Environmental Management

Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and environmental legislationMonitor and manage waste, emissions, and resource efficiencyLead sustainability projects and environmental risk assessments Health & Safety Management

Oversee ISO 45001–aligned Health & Safety Management SystemConduct risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigationsDeliver training programmes and manage site inductionsMaintain the site risk register and lead BRC accreditation efforts Compliance & Reporting

Stay current with QUESH legislation and regulatory requirementsPrepare and submit reports to external bodies and internal stakeholdersAct as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and certifications Leadership & Culture

Promote a proactive, inclusive safety and quality cultureCoach and develop teams to improve performance and accountabilityLead cross–functional QUESH initiatives and embed best practicesFoster an empowered, motivated, and operationally excellent environment Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (preferred)Proven experience in QUESH, HSEQ, or Health & Safety roles within manufacturingNEBOSH Certificate (Diploma and Lead Auditor certifications desirable)Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standardsExperience with BRC accreditation and external audit processes Skills & Attributes

Exceptional communication and leadership skillsAbility to influence and build relationships across all levelsProficiency in QHSE systems, auditing tools, and MS OfficeLean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training (preferred)Strategic thinker with a hands–on, collaborative approach To apply for this position, please submit a CV.
