Are you a Quality Manager looking for a new role Are you a confident in delivering Production and Systems Quality Management in a high volume manufacturing environment Are you looking for a role as a Quality Manager in a high performing production management team in a successful and growing manufacturing operation.

Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Quality Manager by a specialist manufacturing organisation. As the ideal candidate for the role you will be experienced in delivering and developing ISO 9001 in a production environment. You will be skilled at delivering customer satisfaction through improved product quality and be capable of investigating non–conformance to generate process change to drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output.

As the Quality Manager your role and responsibilities will involve:

Responsible for driving improvements in product quality and service levels to deliver excellent standards of customer care, with regular feedback for continuous improvement. Lead the introduction of best practice quality techniques at the shop–floor level such as standard work, quality alerts and mistake proofing. Key results must include a reduction in quality defects, damages and process errors for an overall reduction in the cost of poor quality. Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised. Provide visible leadership in Quality standards, behaviours and systems of work. Responsible for effective Quality policies and systems for improved performance. Promote a positive Quality culture with engagement, training and regular audits. Lead Quality management reviews and drive improved standards. Responsible for measurement and testing of products for quality verification, together with adopting technology such as CMM systems for improving accuracy repeatability. Lead introduction of best practice quality improvements using PDCA problem solving and CI techniques. Excellent standards of Quality CI application, communication, personal discipline, time management, problem solving, continuous improvement and employee engagement. Maintain focused Quality KPIs to monitor improvements, promote new ideas, CI learning. Support and ensure full compliance with internal and external Quality audits. Ensure full compliance with Quality standards and industry regulations. Ensure full compliance with ISO9001 standards. Responsible for driving improved Quality CI standards with suppliers. Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised. Responsible for quality documentation, process capability studies, auditing maintaining equipment calibrations.
