We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality engineer to join an expanding fabrication company. The company work a static day shift and offer earlier finishes on Fridays.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee quality assurance and control processes within fabrication shop.

Conduct inspection and audits of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with specifications.

Support ISO 9001 compliance.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a quality engineer in a fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of fabrication processes.

Proven experience working with quality inspection tools including : callipers, micrometres, gauges and CMM.

Knowledge of industry standards e.g. ISO 9001.

Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Ability to communicate across the team.
