Role Overview
To assure the production of quality products to meet the requirements of our approvals and our customers’ expectations.
This is a full time position, working a schedule of 4 on, 4 off from 7am-7pm.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out internal audits as required.
*
Perform Quality Control testing on finished goods in line with standard procedures.
*
Test raw materials to ensure they meet business requirements.
*
Calibrate test equipment or arrange for equipment calibration when required.
*
Inspect customer and site returns through the RMA process.
*
Assist with type approval of new products and certification processes.
*
Support certification body audits and visits by completing required testing activities.
*
Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping within departmental work areas.
*
Support corrective and preventative actions and contribute to risk assessments and safe systems of work.
*
Assist within the UKAS laboratory and complete all mandatory training requirements.
Skills and Experience
*
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
*
Proven ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
*
Good standard of PC literacy, including Microsoft Office packages. xjnqpsq

Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime.
*
Previous experience of working in Continuous Improvement initiatives would be greatly advantageous
