Quality Control Laboratory Analyst

Location: Petersfield (Manufacturing Environment)

Salary: C 16.00 an hour

About the Role

Our client, a well–established organisation within the manufacturing and consumer goods sector, is seeking a QC Laboratory Analyst to join their Quality team. This role is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in–process samples, and finished products meet strict quality standards prior to release.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Testing & Analysis:

– Perform routine and non–routine testing of raw materials, bulk product, and finished goods

– Prepare samples, conduct analysis, and record and report results

– Monitor and verify laboratory equipment and environmental conditions

– Carry out environmental monitoring and validation

– Maintain accurate documentation

Data Review & Product Release:

– Review laboratory data and documentation

– Enter and manage results within systems (e.g., LIMS/SAP)

– Support release of materials and products

Investigations & Problem Solving:

– Identify quality issues and suggest improvements

– Support OOS investigations

– Assist with complaint and quality evaluations

Documentation & Training:

– Develop and update SOPs

– Provide training where required

Requirements

– Degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience

– Experience in a QC or laboratory environment

– Knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP

– Strong analytical and problem–solving skills

– Good communication skills

Desirable Skills

– Microbiology or analytical chemistry experience

– Knowledge of manufacturing processes

– Familiarity with SAP, LIMS, Microsoft Office

Additional Requirements

– Flexibility to work shifts

– Ability to follow strict lab safety procedures

– Ability to manage workload in fast–paced environment
