Production TIG Welder (Stainless) – 4–Day Week, Long Weekends Every Week

Pay: 17.00– 17.50 per hour (depending on experience)Location: Eye, Suffolk area (own transport recommended due to rural location)Hours: 38 hours per week 7:00am–5:00pmWorking pattern: 4–day week (Monday–Thursday)Overtime: Time and a ThirdPermanent

We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturer of precision–engineered medical equipment, where quality, consistency and attention to detail are critical. The role:

You'll be responsible for high–quality TIG welding and fabrication work, producing precision components from CAD drawings and technical specifications. This is a hands–on production role focused on accuracy, finish, and consistent output.

Key responsibilities:

TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel and other materialsWorking from CAD drawings, fabrication drawings and job specificationsProducing high–quality, precision componentsMaintaining high standards of quality and accuracyChecking work for finish and dimensional accuracySupporting team output and continuous improvement

What we're looking for – Essential:

Strong TIG welding experience, including thin gauge down to 1mmExperience welding stainless steel (and ideally mild steel)Able to read and work confidently from CAD/technical drawingsHigh attention to detail and a quality–first mindsetReliable, team–focused attitude

Desirable:

MIG welding experience (we are also recruiting for a MIG Welder roles)
