Description

Our client based In Costessey is recruiting for 2 Production Technicians on a temporary to permanent basis.

The client is expanding the workforce and looking for experienced candidates to join the team & have a supportive and inclusive environment.

Shifts; (Apply online only)/(Apply online only), 4 on/off rotating shift pattern

Pay; GBP14.00 per hour, rising to a starting salary of GBP33,000 or GBP15.11 per hour when going permanent with the client after 12 weeks of work.

Main Duties Include;

Working with the production facility completing varied dutiesWorking to health & safety standards, taking responsibility for all safe working practicesBeing responsible for production on shift including; Raw materials, finished product, packing, palletisation & machine care Washing machinery parts and ensuring they are clean and damage freeEnsuring all products are processed to specificationChecking product dimensions and adjusting machinery where neededChecking consistency, quality of the product & making adjustments as neededMaintaining accurate production recordsCompleting & recording cleaning during production changeoversTaking effective action in event if machinery breakdownMaintain & record all plant conditions in line with roleSelecting correct packaging materials & pallets for productCarrying our rework and rebag operations as neededTo support with spillages, press cleaning and general hygiene workTo separate non–conforming products and report to manufacturing managerCheck and record metal detector functionsBe a flexible team member to any reasonable duties requested The Successful candidate will demonstrate;

Previous experience in a Food manufacturing or manufacturing environmentAbility to work on own initiative, whilst being a good team playerGood written & verbal communication skillsBasic I.T skills as will be using excel and Microsoft productsExcellent attention to detailAbility to carry out physical work as needed in line with the role Immediate interviews available, please apply today.
