Description
HRGO are recruiting a Production Supervisor for our client in Birkenhead. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring efficient production processes. You will lead a team of production workers, monitor production schedules, and maintain a safe working environment. Your role will involve coordinating with other departments to meet production goals, implementing quality control measures, and optimising production processes.
Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Birkenhead
Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Pay: 16.50 per hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities
– Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and quality standards
– Work in production together as a team with the operatives
– Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve optimal performance
– Work closely with the H&S team to ensure production is undertaken in a safe environment
– Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to streamline production processes
– Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
– Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Requirements
– Previous experience in a supervisory position is essential
– Previous experience in a production environment is essential
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work in a team and lead effectively
