The Company you will be working for;

MTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our industry leading manufacturing client on their search for a permanent Production Operative to join their Assembly team on a full time and permanent basis. If you feel you have the skills and experience required, then please apply for an immediate response!

The Role you will be doing;

* Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products following work instructions and drawings

* Follow work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials

* Perform hand soldering and/or operate soldering equipment as required

* Use hand tools, assembly fixtures, and production equipment safely

* Carry out visual inspections and basic functional testing

* Identify and report defects, faults, or process issues

* Accurately record production, quality, and test data

* Maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls and a clean workstation

* Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards

* Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures

About You;

* Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment

* Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination

* Ability to read and follow instructions, working to high levels of accuracy

* Strong attention to detail and quality awareness

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Basic understanding of electronic components

* Hand soldering experience (through-hole)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Basic computer skills for machine interface and data entry

* GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English

* On-the-job training is often provided

* Reliability and punctuality

* Teamwork

* Safety awareness
