Description
Crem Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing business in Newmarket, with opportunities available across Assembly, Testing, Packing and general Production.
These are hands-on roles offering the opportunity to work with a range of components, tools and production equipment. The exact duties will depend on your previous experience and where your skills are best suited within the operation.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assembling metal components using hand and power tools.
* Following engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications.
* Carrying out visual and functional checks on components and finished products.
* Identifying and reporting defects or issues and ensuring work meets required quality standards.
* Operating production equipment safely and efficiently.
* Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
* Preparing, packing and labelling finished products ready for dispatch.
* Handling components and finished goods carefully to prevent damage.
* Carrying out hands-on production and manufacturing tasks as required.
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
* Following all company Health & Safety and manufacturing procedures.
About You
We're interested in hearing from people with experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, engineering, testing, packing or other practical hands-on environments. You don't need to have experience in every area. We'll look at your individual skills and experience and match you to the department and duties that best suit you. We're looking for people who are reliable, practical, have good attention to detail and are comfortable working as part of a busy production team. xjnqpsq
Hours
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
These opportunities will be allocated according to skills, experience, and suitability.
