Production Operative

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Rotating shifts- 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00

Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour + Holiday Pay

Duration: Temporary until December

We are recruiting for multiple operatives to join a family run business in the heart of Huntingdon on a temporary basis. With full training provided we are wanting reliable, physically fit and enthusiastic individuals who are keen to learn and expand their skillset in a production environment. Previous Machine operating experience is desirable but not essential.

Job Duties:

* Operating machinery and equipment to produce goods according to quality and safety standards.

* Undertake quality checks

* Packing products correctly into boxes ensuring labels match

* Following SOPs

* Assist across other sectors when required

* House keeping duties when required

What we are looking for:

* Manufacturing/Production experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

* The ability to operate machinery safely

* Previous experience operating a Forklift is desirable

* You must have strong communication skills

* Happy to assist in other departments when required

* Compliant with companies’ health and safety policies

* You must be physically fit as heavy lifting is required
