Production Manager

CareerMakers are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our growing client within the plastics manufacturing sector in Winsford, CW7.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate day–to–day production activities on the shop floor Manage and support a team of production staff Create and manage staff rotas to ensure optimal coverage Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times Identify and resolve any production issues quickly and effectively Report on production output, challenges, and improvements to senior management Work closely with other departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes Requirements:

Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within plastics or manufacturing Strong leadership and staff management skills Excellent organizational and planning ability Confident communicator at all levels Able to work under pressure in a fast–paced environment Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards in manufacturing IT literate and comfortable with basic reporting tools/systems Salary: GBP40,000

Shift Times: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
