Starting rate of GBP12.71 per hour

Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Assistant to join a busy textile printing and manufacturing business based in Long Stratton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical skills, learn a specialist trade, and build a long–term career within a growing production environment. No previous screen–printing experience is required full training will be provided.

Washing paint buckets and printing screensCleaning and preparing printing tablesRolling fabrics onto printing tablesAssisting with fabric spraying and preparationLearning the screen–printing processPackaging finished fabric rolls ready for dispatchReceiving fabric deliveriesOrganising and storing stockRecording incoming fabric deliveries and stock movementsCarrying out basic data entry tasks as required What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to learnGood attention to detailReliable and punctual approach to workAbility to work effectively as part of a teamComfortable with hands–on, physical work in a production environmentBasic computer skills would be beneficial but are not essential Career Development

This is an entry–level position with genuine opportunities for progression. Candidates who demonstrate commitment, reliability, and aptitude may be offered a permanent position, progressing to Printer's Assistant and potentially becoming a Printer within 12 months.
