Description
Job Title: Printing Machinist or Finisher
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to 16.00 per hour
Shift: Days and Afters or Nights
Company Overview:
A successful UK manufacturing recycling company are looking for a printing machinist and print finishers due to expansion and increase in workload.
The Printing Machinist role:
Looking for a skilled printer with flexographic experience, working with different designs and logos onto plastic materials.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate flexographic printing press to print designs, logos on plastic films.
Operate cutting, folding and binding machinery.
Printing to customers requirements, hitting colour and design requirements.
Monitor printing and final product quality and hitting standard quality standards.
Complete routine checks on machinery, with smooth change over on shift to shift.
Maintain clean environment and safe working conditions.
Perform colour matching and ensure inks are stored and used properly.
Document all key data such as print runs, machine setting and any issues that occur with equipment.
Keep log of all usage and materials that need ordering.
Previous Experience:
Experience in operating printing presses or print finishing processes, desirable to have been in the packaging industry.Able to do quality checking and colour matching.Knowledge of inks and techniques to be used for different projects.Good attention to detail.Preferably a qualification or certification training in flexographic printing.To Apply:
