PPT Driver - Temp to Perm

Description

Great opportunity as a PPT Drivers for one of the UK's largest citrus & grape specialists.

Staffline is seeking Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) Drivers to join their team in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire.

This is a temp-to-perm position. You must be willing to take on a permanent contract after 12 weeks

The rate of pay is:

Days - £13.15 per hour - Overtime is paid £16.44 per hour after 48 hours

The hours of work are:

Days - 07:00-19:30 - 4 on 4 off

Your Time at Work

As a PPT Driver, your duties include:

- Helping unload and load lorries

- Bringing the stock to the production lines

- Moving completed stock from production lines to the despatch area

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal PPT Driver will hold a valid PPT license and be confident in operating PPT trucks in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to be able to read and communicate in English and have basic maths ability as you will need to pass an assessment during registration.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working on their feet throughout their shift and possess a good level of physical fitness, as the role may require heavy lifting of up to 20KG.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
