PCB / Cable Assembly Operator

Our client is a well–established electronics manufacturer supplying specialist products to global markets. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a PCB / Cable Assembly Operator to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electronics assembly experience who enjoys hands–on work and takes pride in producing high–quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble PCB and cable assemblies to required standards Solder surface mount and through–hole components onto PCBs Operate SMT pick–and–place equipment to populate circuit boards Build cable assemblies using soldering and crimping techniques Follow work instructions, diagrams and assembly drawings accurately Maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail Apply approved soldering processes and assembly techniques Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in PCB or cable assembly Soldering and crimping experience Experience within a manufacturing or production environment Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams Good attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel IPC–A–610 and/or IPC–A–620 certification would be advantageous
