We are seeking a Multi–Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a dynamic engineering team in Leeds. This role involves maintaining and improving complex production machinery within a fast–paced manufacturing environment.

Description

Key responsibilities:

Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke printing and finishing machinery.Provide technical support to the production department and assist with process improvements.Participate in the development of new equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.Work within a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts, plus weekend call–out duties.

Profile

A successful Multi–Skilled Engineer should have:

Holds an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); 18th Edition preferred.Experienced in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of PLC control and variable speed motor controllers.Demonstrates problem–solving ability, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining production.Flexible and self–motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.Advantageous experience includes print machinery, Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers, project management, machine building, CAD electrical drawings, and PUWER risk assessments.
