Location: Aylesford

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (rotating shifts between 6am–6pm)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mill Operative to join a well-established production team near Canterbury. This role offers consistent working hours, excellent training, and the chance to learn a unique operation within a supportive and skilled team.

The Role

Working within the production facility and reporting to the Mill Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and high-quality feed production.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise intake of bulk raw materials

* Test and approve incoming materials

* Prepare ingredients and load production systems

* Operate mill control panels and machinery

* Maintain accurate production records

* Ensure all products meet quality standards

* Carry out regular cleaning schedules

* Support machinery maintenance requirements

* Adhere to Health & Safety and quality procedures

* Move raw and finished goods using a forklift

About You

* Counterbalance forklift licence required

* Able to follow processes and work at pace

* Strong team player with a proactive attitude

* Confident working independently and solving problems

* Flexible and adaptable approach
