MIG/TIG Welder – Role Summary

Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder

Pay:GBP20.00 per hour

Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:00pmFriday: 7:00am–12:30pm36.5 hours per week Benefits:

10% employer pension contribution5% employee pension contributionGBP40,000 life insuranceOvertime available (1.5x standard hours & Saturday), 2x pay on Sundays. 25 Holiday days + Bank Holidays Key Requirements

Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong practical MIG and TIG welding skills. Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to safely use fabrication equipment and lifting equipment where trained. Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team. Main Duties

MIG and TIG welding of fabricated components. Preparing, aligning, and tack–welding components to drawings and specifications. Setting up and safely operating welding and fabrication equipment. Checking finished work for quality and accuracy. Reporting defects or production issues to management. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Following all company Health & Safety and quality procedures. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. SER–IN
