Description

We are currently recruiting for a Metal Polisher on behalf of our client based in the NR29 area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, offering a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be involved in the production and finishing of high-quality products, working as part of a skilled manufacturing team. Full training will be provided on specialist processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing and finishing process.

Work from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.

Carry out polishing, finishing, and quality inspection tasks to a high standard.

Load programmes and operate production equipment following training.

Handle and move materials safely throughout the production process.

Maintain excellent attention to detail and adhere to company quality standards.

Follow all health and safety procedures within the workplace.

Support the wider production team with additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in metal polishing, manufacturing, engineering, or production environments would be advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is beneficial, although training can be provided.

Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn new skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work a demanding and hands-on role
