About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Technician to join our production team building world-leading simulators.

Our simulators are primarily mechanical assemblies that incorporate electric motors, drives, sensors, and control systems, so an understanding of basic electrical wiring and termination is advantageous. Would suit car mechanic.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble mechanical components to build simulators from start to finish

* Follow build instructions and technical documentation accurately

* Carry out basic wiring and termination of electrical components

* Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

* Work to target build times while ensuring quality standards are met

* Identify and report any build or component issues

* Maintain a safe and organised workspace

Key Skills and Experience

* Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills

* Experience in roles xjnqpsq such as mechanical fitter, technician, auto mechanic, or similar

* Ability to use a wide range of hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques

* Basic electrical wiring and termination skills

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
