Full–Time 26,936 – 31,746 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Poole

Early Finish Fridays

A leading precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join their high–quality production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the aerospace sector, assembling complex, high–specification components to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sub–assembly of machined components to meet strict aerospace standards

Performing tasks including:

Staking bearings

Heli–coil fitting

Valve assembly

Beading using aerospace–grade sealants (e.g., PR1770)

Conducting self–inspection and testing of finished assemblies

Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings and detailed assembly instructions

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in mechanical assembly is essential

A solid understanding of aerospace assembly techniques

Ability to work accurately with hand tools and precision instruments

Experience in pressure testing would be a distinct advantage

Strong attention to detail, self–motivated, and quality–focused
