Manufacturing Operative

Location: L3

Pay: £13.50ph

Shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am

Days: Monday - Friday

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative that has a desire to progress and comes with a fantastic attitude towards work. In this role, you will be instrumental in assembling, inspecting, and maintaining high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your hands-on skills will ensure smooth operations, contribute to efficient workflow, and uphold safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within manufacturing and warehouse settings while being part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence.

Duties

* Use of Manufacturing machines

* Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure product standards are maintained

* Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols

* Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity

* Assist with inventory management by accurately recording materials used and completed products

* Support the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or production area

* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and resolve any operational issues promptly

* Any additional adhoc duties

Requirements

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks

* Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately under pressure

* ability to stand for extended periods of time

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

* Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management practices
