Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking to step into a Lead/Supervisory role, take ownership of a skilled assembly team and build specialist X–Ray equipment from the ground up, whilst developing your career within an established and growing manufacturer?

Established in 2003, this specialist company provide industrial X–ray services to local manufacturers including cabinets, equipment and even entire rooms. After continued growth they have recently moved into a new workshop and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join the team.

In this role you will be leading a small team of Mechanical Assemblers, coordinating and providing technical guidance on a day–to–day basis. Whilst carrying out the build and assembly of bespoke X–ray equipment, you will also liaise with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the design specification.

This role would suit a Mechanical Assembler / Fitter from a manufacturing background looking to work on bespoke machinery with a company offering real progression within their new workshop.

The Role:

Supervise and support a small but growing team of engineersCoordinate the day and assign tasks to your teamBuilding bespoke X–ray cabinets and equipmentMon–Fri (8am–4pm) with optional overtime at 1.5x (Sunday 2x)The Person:
