Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well–established manufacturing business in the local area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands–on work, is practically minded and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities for the Machine Operative:

Supporting the production and manufacturing processUsing basic hand tools and equipmentMeasuring, cutting and preparing materials to specificationCarrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standardsFollowing production instructions and health & safety proceduresKeeping the workspace clean, organised and safeThe ideal Machine Operative candidate will:

Have previous experience in a factory, production or workshop environmentBe confident using basic hand toolsHave good attention to detail and a strong work ethicBe reliable, punctual and willing to learnBe comfortable working as part of a teamFull training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long–term career in manufacturing.
