Salary – 29,142.36 – casual overtime when needed

Basic hours – 45 per week, start time 7.45am – 5.15pm – to be discussed at interview.

Location – Gillmoss Transfer Station, Fazakerley, Merseyside, L10 5HA and Huyton Transfer Station, Huyton, Merseyside, L36 6BN

What will you be doing?

Operating all Mobile Plant including a loading shovelUndertaking routine checks and maintenance of the equipmentCleaning the plant and machineryCompleting paperwork relating to daily checks, cleaning schedules, machine checks and productionPerform appropriate traffic marshalling duties to ensure safe entry and egress to/from the operational tipping areas of the site.Assist in the periodic cleaning of the facility in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule, including jet washing the input hall to maintain site conditions.

What are we looking for?

Good working knowledge of Health & SafetyPrevious experience within a similar operational manual handling roleFull UK driving licence and vehicle to get to our sitesYellow plant experienceWheeled loading shovel preferred

This role involves physical duties and working outdoors in all weather conditions
