Machine Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Machine Operative for our clients' leading citrus & grape specialists.

Staffline is recruiting Machine Operatives to work in Alconbury.

Transport is available from 4 locations in Peterborough.

The rate of pay is:

– Day Shift GBP12.21 per hour while training

– Day Shift GBP13.20 per hour when signed off

– Night Shift GBP12.51 per hour while training

– Night Shift GBP15.50 per hour when signed off

Overtime is paid after 48 hours at:

– Day Shift GBP16.50

– Night Shift GBP19.38

This is a full–time role. The shift pattern is:

Day Shift – 4 on 4 off – 07:00 – 19:30

Night shift – Sun, Mon, Thurs & Friday – 19:00 – 07:00

Flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the business.

Your Time at Work

As a Machine Operative, your duties will include:

– Maintaining and monitoring machinery to ensure proper function.

– Understanding how the machinery operates.

– Observing and following company safety rules and regulations.

– Accurately completing all required paperwork.

– Monitoring machinery to identify any issues.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Machine Operative will:

– Have excellent attention to detail.

– Possess the ability to work and communicate well with others.

– Be willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
