Light Assembler/Machine Operator Location: Tipton
Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 06 00
Friday: 06 30
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Light Assembler / Spot Welder on behalf of one of our busy clients based in the Tipton area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for light, hands–on production work in a busy manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities: Operating a spot–welding machine.
Assembling and joining metal rods together.
Positioning thin steel rods (approximately the thickness of a coat hanger) vertically and horizontally.
Placing the steel rods onto a rotating circular worktable.
Aligning the metal rods correctly with the spot–welding machine.
Using a foot pedal/press to operate the welding machine and join the metal together.
Maintaining a steady workflow and ensuring products meet quality standards.
The Ideal Candidate: Previous machine operating or production experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Good attention to detail.
Able to carry out repetitive, light production duties.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Comfortable working in a fast–paced manufacturing environment.
