Location: Exeter, Devon

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 17:00pm

Salary: Up to GBP28,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an Import & Export Administrator to join an established organisation and play a key role in supporting its international shipping and logistics operations.

This is an excelle3nt opportunity for someone with previous experience in import/export administration, international logistics or similar environment who is looking to develop their career within a busy and varied role.

Responsibilities:

Managing import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring all processes comply with relevant customs and international trade requirementsLiaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs agents to coordinate shipments and resolve any issuesPreparing and checking key shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of originMonitoring stock and coordinating logistics to ensure goods are delivered efficiently and on timeMaintaining accurate records of import and export activity for compliance and audit purposesSupporting the review and optimization of freight and shipping costsKeeping up to date with changes to customs regulation, tariffs and international trade requirementsWorking closely with sales, finance, legal and other internal departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations About you:

Previous experience in an import/export or logistics focused roleA good understanding of customs procedures and international trade complianceExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant logistics/shipping systemsA degree or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related subject would be advantageous Benefits:
