The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Laminator Typically, this person will working on the repair of a luxury racing yacht, focusing on the laminating and repair work on the interior structural side. They will ensure high-quality standards in line with marine specifications and production schedules.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Laminator:

- Hand lay-up

- Laminating the Structures of the hull

- Trimming, sanding, and preparing moulds and finished products

- Reading and working from technical drawings and laminating specifications

- Carrying out quality checks and repairs as needed

- Ensuring clean, safe, and efficient work practices within the workshop

Qualifications and requirements for the Marine Laminator:

- Proven experience in GRP/composite laminating xjnqpsq within the marine sector

- Ability to work from technical drawings and follow lay-up schedules

- Understanding of composite materials and processes such as hand lay

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
